kamiyandisease | Chapter 03 - The Finest Flowers for You, My Dear

[Today had started off like a normal day... But he felt a lot more lighter for some reason. Any bad luck he had encountered throughout the day, he simply brushed it off than mope as usual. After all, he had the urge to get someone a special gift.

Almost like he gotten into a fight, but he seems to be holding a bunch of irises in his hand. Since this is Touma, it was only natural for him to get caught up in something on an innocent walk for flowers. Despite that, he looks extremely chipper and humming as he's walking along.]

Hmhmm~ This world is so bright, yet my future is lookin' dark-- Ah, no. Maybe I should change the lyrics to that now. Hehe... Am I dreaming or does it look like everyone is more happier than usual? I hope this feeling ends up lasting forever.

[Then he'll pause to look at the flowers in his hands with a wistful sigh.] Still... Was it really that much of a hassle to get some of these? Such misfortun-- No, wait. That catchphrase should be banned for today! I should be saying this is very fortunate. Whatever the case... It should be worth it in the end as long as she smiles brightly.

[He's walking to Building 7 if you want to chat it up with him (before or after is fine). Other than that, he'll be knocking on Homura's door.]

She gets annoyed when I give her adoring nicknames... Uuuu... Such misfortune. I just want to make her laugh when I do them. That could qualify for Kamijou-san's dying wish!

[ALAS. He's just very bad at reading girls and the mood sometimes. Not to mention, super srs girls are a bit scary to him.]

D.. don't worry! I'm sure it will turn out okay as long as you try your best, then Homura-chan will see the value of your effort for sure too. [ She smiles, trying to make it seem reassuring.. ]

Gyaaaaa! Wait a minute! H-Homura-san might get jealous if I did that... [And once again, he's a wreak.] But I still want to show my gratitude to you somehow! Crap! My kindness might end hurting the one I care about the most....! Such misfortune...!

[ Oh no, there he goes again..! It makes the case more clear again, at least, but oh no, don't turn into a wreck.. ]

I-it's okay! I already understand your gratitude, you don't have to get me anything.. I-in fact, just giving Homura-chan your flowers would make me very happy too..! [ Homura needs more friends.. a boyfriend works too, clearly, yup. ]

Y-you really mean that...? [Uwoooh making a small recovery.] Waaah.... Once you go on a single route, it's dangerous to get into unlucky problems with other girls. The last thing I would want is for Homu Homu to burn down my room or something. That would go beyond misfortune...!

I don't even know Homura-san's favorite color... Black is a good guess, though.

[ See, the problem is that even Madoka doesn't know Homura that well - they mostly grew to be friends in Luceti, after all. ]

Black might be a good guess, yes.. or purple, maybe! At least that's a little bit more colorful, right?

Oh, yeah! I'll have to get her a purple dress sometime. [Hmm... Picturing it in his head now.]

It would probably feel out of nowhere since there isn't any meaning of money here, but I still want to do something for her.

But.. it's the effort itself that's important, right? I'm sure Homura-chan will be really happy if you get her a gift, since it means you went through all the trouble of picking and getting it for her even if you didn't have to pay like you would back home.

Ah, you're right. Kamijou-san is starting to burst with a lot of ideas now. Maybe I could trick her and put her dress in a shoebox, so it could look like that I'm getting a pair of shoes! Then whenever she opens it, she'll be completely surprised!

It's a very clever trick from what I've heard.

I've never heard of that trick before..! Did you ever try it on someone before?

Well... I tried it once on a friend of mine, but she got angry and tried biting my head off.

It's not that she didn't like it... Index-san is just different when she's showing her thanks. Sometimes, I'm not even sure if I can call it proper thanks.

It's hard to tell with Index sometimes. She's almost as complicated as Biri Biri.
