Prologue: A Certain Imagine Breaker's Introduction - New World [Action]

[The hot springs happen to be a cool place to hang out and relax, right? Maybe you ladies out there had gotten yourself into a dirty battle and wanted to unwind after it. Or maybe you insightful girls were quietly doing an internal monologue as you bathed to yourself. Or you were sharing secrets and spreading gossip about how "Girl A likes Guy B". Or you were in the middle of a super cute water fight with a group of friends.

That's nice! It's great! It works! However, your sexy hot spring shenanigans are going to be cut short... Right this minute.

Something is bubbling and slowly rising from the waters. And that something looks like it has black spiky hair. It doesn't seem to be a girl... No, that is definitely a half-naked male standing up in the middle of the girl's hot springs. At first, he looks dumbfounded and runs a hand through his hair…]

H-huh? Just... where.... [Then he pauses. Knowing his luck, these dangerous kinds of situations happen to him everyday. He... he should start running, shouldn't he?]

--EHHHHH!? W-what's with this new random development!? ... Uuuu... Such misfortune!! I-It would be easier for all of us if we just pretended that I wasn't here in the first place!

[...] L-Let's not resort to meaningless bloodshed! Before you start summoning your strongest techniques and abilities, I-I'm gonna... start running now!

Hahaha... Um, long time no see! [Claps his hands together and bows his head.] Do you mind if we run while we're talking!?

[Shaking his cane like an old man at you so hard, Touma.

But he sighs and flips the switch on his collar because he doesn't intend to let Touma just run off. Good thing he can use his powers to move his legs better and well, propel himself forward using the air.]

[OH RIGHT. Well, now he feels bad for making him pull his weight around. Still, he continues running while looking over his shoulder every now and then.]

--Don't worry, I'll make this all up to you. [A beat.] Anyway... I guess I should start by asking where we are.

[ Luckily Ange was saved from that misery due to the fact that she's just not the kind of person to go unwind or have fun ever.. But she bumps into Touma - or rather, he bumps into her as he runs - all the same while she's out for a walk, raising an eyebrow. ]

[ She shrugs a little, looking down at him. ] Moreover, you look like the one who's in trouble.

[ She does somewhat seem to get his problem though, and after letting out a (slight exaggerated) sigh she stretches out her arm, offering him a hand to help him get up. ]

Last time I checked, I'm female and I don't hate you just quite yet. So < congratulations >.

Oh, um... Thanks, I guess. [Did he trigger a route? Naaaaah, let's not ponder about that.] What's your name? I'm Touma. Kamijou Touma.

[Rydia is utterly relaxed as she soaks in the hot spring, grateful for it after a long week of volunteering at the Welcome Center. This is just what she needed. Every bout of chaos needs a moment of peace to balance it out.

Of course, that peace can't last. Upon realizing that she's not alone, her eyes snap open and she yelps, backing away.]

[FFFFFF TURNING SO RED-- He's going to stumble back before tripping himself into the water whoops.]

R-Right! I was never here! Please forgive this pure and innocent Kamijou Touma for interrupting your pleasant hour!

[Rydia automatically starts forward as he trips...then stops herself and backs away again. This is not the time to be helpful, not until she's clothed once more. Her eyes narrow.]

It better be an innocent mistake. There are people far less forgiving than me about that, you know. [And as it is, the temptation to cast Toad is definitely there.]

[He lets out a sigh of relief and a single tear comes down his face. Then he'll put his hands together and bow his head at her.]

Uuu... I think I know the type far too well... Um... Please let me make up to you! Whenever you're finished bathing, I'll do something special to wipe away this already black and dirty slate. I promise it won't happen again! [But knowing Touma, his luck will get him into even more trouble...]

[Rydia sighs, still far from happy about this, but holding back from anything drastic. Still, her moment is spoiled and now all she wants to do is to don clothing before someone else can walk in on her.]

I'll hold you to that promise. Now, please, at least move somewhere far enough so I can get dressed!

Based on what I've read, yes. [ She remains standing, apparently unaffected by wearing such dark clothes on a bright day. She was going to head into the springs, but seeing him there...yeah, she's changed her mind. ]

Aaah... So, I'm guessing you're new around here, too. [He'll awkwardly rub his head... This isn't the best way he wanted to appear in a new world. Not to mention, seeing such a Cool Big Sis girl is making him feel a bit more self-conscious about his first impression.]

Um.. How much do you know about everything so far? Please swap notes with this ignorant Kamijou-san.

[ She pauses, unsure whether to tell him or not. Though . . . he did say please. ]

What've I've gathered so far is that we're locked within an enclosed village within a forest and there's a barrier around it. We can't leave. [ She sighs at that point, not really liking the thought of that. But attempting to break out must surely have been tried already, and if there are all these people here, obviously it didn't work. No point in trying to read for the unreachable. ]

Also, the wings on our backs allow us to communicate despite having different languages. [ She hesitates again. She's done a fair bit of reading in the library, but she hasn't delved too far into it yet. ] If you need anything else, look to the library or some of the others.

[There's a pause as it looks like he's trying to soak in all the new information. When it came to magical explainations from other magicians, he always felt out of the loop since he was more in the realm of LOGIC AND SCIENCE!!]

Mm... A barrier, huh? [He looks at his right hand for a moment. Could Imagine Breaker shatter it? There was a 50/50 percent chance he could succeed and go home or get himself really hurt.] Are you sure that no one has tried to break through this thing?

..... [He'll take a moment to look on his back with his wings. And then, he'll check out hers.... while trying to keep his eyes off of her cleavage. He's wondering why she's wearing those kinds of clothes in an environment like this.] Um... You wouldn't happen to be a magician, wouldn't you? With those outlandish clothes, I can only assume--!
